It is amazing how bored you can be when traveling from place to place. Especially for 8 hours! Unless the journey is Sharm el Sheikh to Cairo. We loved every minute and every kilometer of this road trip. Everyone should find the time to make it. You may need a lifetime to enjoy all the adventures you stumble upon. Here you can get an idea of that wonderful trip:

What you see will make you forget everything; the bumpy road or even driving, if you want to get lost this is the place

Be a love bird, a good friend or just be yourself and feel at one with nature
And well ... we had to add the picture of a friend who always miss all our trips... but Sharm is a great place for horseback riding!!
You look and
wonder what is it and what is doing here, in the middle of the desert. You may
imagine a lot of things like one of its three gates can take you to
another world with different dimensions where your dreams come true
but you have to choose the right gate because there is no way back
It's a new dawn,
it's a new day, and i am feeling good
Also mama camel and
her baby can have a road trip to show to the kid the world
Behind the sun
glasses red eyes and dark shadows
At some point
you just have to stop and take a deep look at the majesty of the scene
The moon and the
clear sky in Sharm is charming and different from anywhere else, it
is so close and so bright that you can't prevent yourself from
falling in love with it and it seems that it was following us even in
day light just to say goodbye
Another gate to
paradise and again your dreams will come true because at this point
you won't be dreaming about anything else but the bathroom and a cup of
coffee
Probably not the best coffee.... and a shame was too much people looking to take a picture of the bathroom but after few hours driving is a nice to stop! and the coffee taste even great!
Another rest house
and yes that's a machine gun on the roof because it is actually a military
base !!!
This should have been our first stop on the way to Cairo,
Elbasha rest house at Ras Sedr just because a "good friend" told us it is the best way to stop on
the road, probably the worst cup of tea you will ever had, luckily it
wasn't the first stop
If you see a truck's
race and a foggy sky that only can mean that you are approaching Cairo and the
crazy driving adventure begins
In Egypt there are
two things that you will see everywhere a man called Mohamed and
mosques even in the desert
Now you are in Cairo
on the highest bridge over the Nile where you can see this green
island (Geziret el Dahab what means the Gold Island) It is one of the
best spots where you can enjoy the beauty of the Nile and the fresh
air even in the middle of the day which is rare in Cairo
In a crowded city
like Cairo you can lose your mind because of the traffic and the
noise so if you want to escape and have some peace of mind
just go up 187 meters above sea level on the top of Cairo
tower where you can find peace and the hiding beauty of this city
From this side you
can see the old city and Salah Eldin Citadele
which is one of the most important monument of the Islamic
architecture ... check the opening times you might be too used that everything opens till late and you find it close when you try to visit it at 6pm
The opera house
-that white building with a dome- and a portion of the modern city as
you can see it is endless
These majestic
pyramids can be seen from every where in this huge city if you
managed to have clear point of view and it is a place that have to
visit at least once before you die
